ystd went to the NTU function at mandarin hotel, just got nothing better to do and have a look around. well, the main thing is that i got my OFF day. hahaa..

ok, first up, im not being racist or what, but really, the no. of malays there is just a handful. and too bad either there isnt any a malay girl :(

so when i finally met up with a malay dude,and being friendly like i always am,( :p ) decided to approach him and make a new friend. hahaa..and oh my god..he's bespectacled, with a more-than-medium-physique, red shirt tucked-in, wearing formal pants and have the i-am-capable-of-getting-the-lee-kuan-yew-gold-award kinda look. so u can guess whats my first impression of him was. the best part was, i wanted to know his name, and usually they give a sticker with ur name written on it and u have to paste it on ur shirt. i tried to spell out his name but the wordings seemed alien to me, and when i finally realised, he wore it the other way up! Oh my.... what have i got myself into man???

anyway i did point that up to him, and with a smile he correct his mistake, and as we talk somemore he seemed a very nice lad after all.

and today was such an eventful sunday for me. hyder, wan and zad came to my house upon the invitation of my bro's bday party. its a nice gathering for me, and we certainly does a lot of cathing up and share our army experiences. of course, i got the least to share, for my duty is just to STAND and hold the rifle to GUARD safti mi. and plus the fact that im a private, a pathetic KOSONG.haha

after that played soccer with wan's fren at bedok, nice to meet up with my bmt mate rahman. still as talkative and funny as ever. hahaa.. and he's a CDO, mind you.

went home only to be greeted with my cuzzins!!! so happening my house, i really had a good time playing and entertaining them.

haiya... i felt so down for having to report back to work tmr, after three days of OFF. what to do, like my sgt used to say, lan lan suck thumb!

and still, when can i finally get my lance corporal rank.......???!!!! :( :( :(
