13 August 2006 mark the end of my blissful working days at Topman Wisma. I remember vividly the first day i arrived at the shop,(27th May) and then, in the blink of an eye, it's all over. b4 i know it, i've spent 79 days of my life over there. time sure flies when one's enjoying oneself.
As eager as I am to leave the place, a sense of belonging have been creeping into me as the days passed by. I have clicked with the staff over there, and we have gone thru shit together in the name of providing service. we have to work as a team to operate the store on a daily basis. and then i miss the lunch time we had together, the jokes we shared, the problems we faced, the strict regulations we had to comply, and not forgetting, the store aunties.
Store Aunties! I love 'em so!
there's auntie Vivien; the sweet and beautiful lady, which constantly gave me helpful advices, not necessarily guiding me to find a new piece of clothes a customer requested, but also how to hook a girl in a university if i ever manage to go there; then there's auntie Mary; the cute and adorable lady, the one i always LOVE to bully, who keep mistaking my name for 'Ah-Ti' and how i forced her to call me 'Ta ke ke'( big brother) and be content of my calling her 'Siao Mei Mei' (little sister).
Lastly, there's also auntie Jenny, the hot-headed, 'kANCHONG' auntie, which automatically remark 'Lawa' (nice) when we asked her opinion of a t-shirt we tried on without even looking at us first, which nevertheless, i find very cute.
then there's the rest of the topman staff which include indera, is, munir, sufian, wan, sal, kyle, danny, shahrul, mat noor, vince, saleem and lina. The supervisors inlcude Liza, diana, kak shah and the one and only Marco (used to be the supervisor, now have climbed the ranking ladder to be the assistant manager), which i'm heavily indebted to, and the one i'm so thankful of til today. its always nice to have a caring and an ever-smiling yet demanding manager at ur working place.
not forgetting, i miss the topshop staff too, and i can't possibly pen all their names down so as not to bore myself.
so that is all for my recap of the staff at topman/topshop. and also my days over there. everything's got an ending; none in this world is ever-lasting. so as i prepare myself for the unpredictable future (esp NS!) the memories of my days in Topman will add another colourful chapter in my life.
