I have serious doubts of passing my TP and as D-Day grows near, it is evident that i'm getting more worried than ever. I made my concern known to my dad and he simply replied a rather humilating yet morale-boosting remark:

'Even women can pass, why can't you?'

Okay. That does it. That dented my ego and the male testosterone in me kicks in, and i think i did fairly well at my prac just now, although the engine did stalled once.

Okay, this issue of female glory. I wonder WHY the ladies would even opt to go to the Officer Cadet School, when us guys would be more than happy to bail out of army, or NS ever at all. And i i've heard of this one extraordinary girl who clocked 9 mins for her 2.4km run! The idea of a girl running faster than me really does scare the hell outta me. And this individual even beg her superior to post her to the infantry unit, when us guys would die to be posted out of it. And this is all the results of the 'i-relish-a-challenge,i-can-outclass-those-useless-men-hee-hee-yippee-yay-yay' mindset.

And have a look at all around us! Female dominance are slowly taking over, and they now hold important positions in organisations everywhere! Someone must put an end to this madness! Man have been the dominant sex for the past million years, and then this happen! The balance of nature have been altered and this could trigger problems more catastrophic then the global warming, depletion of ozone layer, melting of the poles, massive deforestration and the taxi fare hikes all put together!!!

Okay,okay. I'm definitely exaggerating. Why not? when i'm bored, i'd love to babble gibberish mumbo-jumbo stuffs. I dunnoe why, when i'm bored, the right hemisphere of my brain becomes overly active.

Talking bout my brilliant brain, i watched this documentary, also coincidently entitled 'my brilliant brain'. They showcased the savants (they're almost like the geniuses), who have remarkable gift of brain power. There's this one dude, who is both deaf and blind, but is a musical maestro, as he can replay the whole song after hearing it just once. and then this dude, who can tell you the exact day when given any date!

However, their gifts came at a price, as they, too have limitations. Generally, a savant is born when there's several wiring-up problems in their brains' nerve system, and their right hemisphere, which controls math,music and creativity became overly dominant. So their right hemisphere, which control logical thinking and stuff, is, well, basically almost asleep. So they lacked logical thinking of everyday stuffs, and are normally shy socially.

SO, as much as i admired and wanted to possess their gifts, i think i wouldn't want to trade them to be mentally handicapped, and i'll just be content of who i am.
