we got the news, for the umpteenth time, that one of our guy's valuables got stolen. this time it's khai's handphone. we definitely had enough of this shit and finally asked 2SG samson to intervene. the december batches (their ORD is in dec so we called them by this term) had obviously gone too far and we are not too intent to bury this matter without a fight.
and so sgt samson confined us to one of the bunks and instructed me and kamal not to let anyone out while he raided our bunks one by one.Personally,i thought this mission would be a failure as the chances of retrieving back the hp will almost be nil.
fortunately, i was mistaken.
as usual, the mood in the bunk was not intensed, and everyone was friendly towards one another like always even though we all knew who the culprit was. and they themselves knew they were being suspected yet they acted so normal, laughing with one another. they are those who cover their faces with masks to cover up their extremely dirty self therein. these, trust me, are the most dangerous kinds of creatures that will ever roam the planet.
and so every bunk was inspected, and as expected, the hp was nowhere to be found. but samson was not to be fooled easily; it's clearly visible that he's highly trained in his profession. he instructed every dudes who owned motorbikes to follow him to check on their bikes as well. BinGo, he'd just materialise our hopes to check on their bikes as well. that is where they hid sham's PSP the last time: in their bike!
and so, lo and behold, our suspision were spot-on, the hp was found under Lokhman's motorbike (near the exhaust)! The culprit was caught, and with evidence as well! it was there all right, and as samson pull the sony ericsson out slowly, to me, the hp looked much more costlier than gold. lokhman pretended to look bewildered and ask how come the hp was on his bike.
but hey, c'mon ah friend, there's no way u can smoke out of this now lah DEY!
and so he was duly dealt with accordingly, although im not sure what but i'm positive that he'll go to DB, i'll update on this for sure again.
back in the bunk, we held a mini celebaration to mark our victory over evil. haha. we've been SOoOoO longing for this day to come for months since the first theft incident occured. we knew, with clear conscience, that the december batches were behind all these all along, but we dun have enough proof to provide as evidence. although onced, we give them back a taste of their own medicine by breaking in to their bunk and stole and vandalise their stuffs. if they thought we're stooopid and easy pickings, they're wrong, we CAN fight fire with fire. we even thought of damaging their bikes but nothing couldn't have been sweeter than the capture of the culprit RED-HANDED by a sergeant!!! :) :) :)
but of course, all these come not without a price, as one of our guys were threatened by punat. fear not, we all told him, there are just the 5 of them vs 20 + of us. if things got physical, well, hopefully u need'nt be a mathematician to evaluate who'll win. of course, we all now should be on our guards as they'll be more incensed than ever.
But we didn't care one bit!! HAHA!
and the RSM, oh, hopefully now he could finally realise that our sufferings were indeed real, and our cries were sincere and not to simply brushed our complaints aside..
all hail 2nd Sergeant Samson, the HERO!
